Transcend Infection Controllers Suite

Transcend Infection Controllers is a suite of specialist qualification pathways integral to the Transcend Level 2 Award in Infection Prevention, Mitigation and Management. This is an Ofqual regulated vocational qualification that sits in sector subject area 1.3 Health and social care.

This qualification is uniquely designed to be completed in the context of a specialist pathway. It differs from others as it requires all training and assessment to be tailored to the learner’s workplace environment and job role. Employers, health and safety officers, senior managers and any staff member can all benefit from infection control competences.

Each environment listed below represents a pathway. The list is comprehensive and should enable every learner to access the one which is most relevant to their role and workplace.

The qualification was developed with health and safety education specialists RYNAT and INSPIRATUS as the technical collaborators. It was validated through consultation with technical specialists in each pathway.

The qualification is available to any education provider that complies with the Transcend Centre Recognition and Supplementary Qualification Pathway Conditions.
