Transcend Level 2 Award in Infection Prevention, Mitigation and Management in Factory, Plants and Warehouse Environments

Transcend Level 2 Award in Infection Prevention, Mitigation and Management is an Ofqual regulated vocationally related qualification that sits in sector subject area 1.3 Health and social care. It is uniquely designed to be completed in the context of a specialist pathway that represents the learner’s workplace environment.  

The Factory, Plants and Warehouse Environments pathway is particularly relevant to managers, technical and operational teams in these settings.  

Factory, plant, and warehouse owners may wish to use this as a high-value development opportunity for their workforce to ensure duty of care through infection control.  

The aim is to enable learners to develop knowledge and skills to control fatal infectious diseases in the context of their own role and scope of practice in the factory, plant, or warehouse where they operate. They will also develop the skills prevent, mitigate the spread, and manage breakouts of the most common infectious diseases found in factory, plants, and warehouses. 

Successful learners will receive a certificate that evidences the achievement of this qualification in the context of this pathway as shown:

The qualification was developed with health and safety education specialists RYNAT and INSPIRATUS as the technical collaborators. This pathway was validated through consultation with industry specialist Roger Pemberton ACTIONCOACH.
