Transcend Food Safety Activists Suite

Transcend Food Safety Activists is a suite of specialist qualification pathways integral to the Transcend Level 2 Award in Food Safety and Hygiene. This is an Ofqual regulated vocational qualification that sits in sector subject area 1.3 Health and social care.  

 The purpose of the qualification is to develop the learner’s ability to embed food safety and hygiene principles into practice in the context of their role and occupational environment. The pathway reflects the environment and include:

This differs from other similar qualifications as it requires all training and assessment to be fully contextualised to the learner’s occupational environment and job role. Contextualisation is proven to enhance the learning experience, increase achievement rates and enables safe practice in the context of own role upon completion.  

This qualification was developed with health and safety education specialist RYNAT and food safety consultants CD Food Excellence as the technical collaborators.  

Each qualification pathway is available to be delivered by education providers that comply with the Transcend Centre Recognition and Supplementary Qualification Pathway Conditions.
