Transcend Level 2 Certificate in Gym Instructing

The Transcend Level 2 Certificate in Gym Instructing is regulated by Ofqual. It is a vocational qualification that sits in sector subject area 8.1: Sport and Recreation. This qualification is developed partnership with industry specialists Future Fit Training. It is endorsed by CIMSPA as an industry best practice qualification which is aligned in full to the Gym Instructor Professional Standards. Successful learners are also eligible to receive 10 CIMSPA CPD points.

The aim of this qualification is to develop the learner’s ability to fulfil the role of a gym instructor. They will develop ethical and effective approaches to gym instruction which will enable them to GAIN and RETAIN employment. The intent is to enable future gym instructors to maximise their client’s experience, influence sustainable positive health behaviors.

This qualification is uniquely designed to embed the Archon Combine fitness testing solution which supports evidencable and valid results when assessing the impact of gym programmes. Every registered learner is eligible to gain FREE access to Archon for the duration of their registration period.

This qualification is also supported by an industry leading EdTech platform which is endorsed by Transcend and supplied by On Screen Learning. This EdTech platform is inclusive of digital learning experiences and an assessment portfolio which is aligned in full to the CIMSPA Professional Standards for Gym Instructor.  Recognised Centres can use their own solutions to establish a USP or request access to the value added On Screen Learning Platform.
