Transcend’s Alternative Education Pathways suite offers a pioneering set of optional, Ofqual-regulated qualifications designed to support learner progression and remove barriers to education.
Originally created for secondary school pupils in need of an alternative curriculum, these qualifications have since proven valuable across a wider range of educational settings.
As a result, Learners can build success gradually achieving qualifications at Entry Level 3 or Level 1 before progressing to Level 2 and beyond. Moreover, this staged approach allows them to collect credits, gain confidence, and advance toward higher-level study or employment.
These Alternative Education Pathway qualifications are relevant for a variety of learners, whether embedded within the national curriculum, delivered as part of a value-added programme or offered in further education settings to boost personal development and employability.
Crucially, there are few other solutions designed to engage young people who have been underserved by mainstream education. Transcend’s Alternative Education Pathways give schools and Pupil Referral Units (PRUs) a unique and innovative opportunity to re-engage these learners through a meaningful and sustainable approach
